As 2009 is quickly coming to an end, we're down to our last few race series events and our first few events for 2010:

Saturday, December 12th

3rd Annual Beast Charity Run/Conquer the Beast
A challenging 10 mile trail run located at Whitney Park (Newhall Ave Park and Ride). Race begins at 7:30 am. This is a designated club fun run with a $20 entry fee. Proceeds benefit the SCV Food Pantry.

Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Run
Our second race series event on Saturday, December 12th. This is a designated club organized event and the 10K race can qualify for your 10K points for the year. Race begins at 7:30 am.

Thursday, December 17th

Jingle Bell Jog
Another club favorite fun run. Join us at 6:15pm at the Wolf Creek parking lot. Festively dressed runners will view all of the Xmas lights on this 6 mile jog through North Valencia. After the run, we've reserved the patio for some post run refreshments. Participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for Wolf Creek's Toy for Tots drive.

January 1, 2010

Hangover Run
Mark your calendar for our first 2010 event. This 6 mile trail run at Vasquez Rocks, will definitely require that you plan your New Year's Eve evening appropriately. It is typically cool and windy, so dress appropriately for this 8:30 am start. Rumor has it that there is often festive spirits and treats following this fun run.

January 16, 2010

Bens Ten
While this follows the same course as our Saturday Lowes run, this is definitely a special run. Join approximately 30-40 of your fellow members for this flat and fast course with encouraging motivational signs throughout the course. Afterwards, stay for coffee and bagels.

Don't delay in reporting your 2009 points as our deadline is January 15, 2010.
